Antalya, Turkey Meteor Fireball 20:30 GMT 15SEP2011
Meteor spotted last night over southern Turkey, just east of Antalya.
Large white flash, brighter than any lightning, and then a bright fireball, breaking up onto five or six smaller fireballs of differing speeds. Large trail of orange and white sparks. Biggest meteor I have ever seen, in 35 years.
Meteor was travelling almost due east.
