I live in Nashville, Tennessee, USA, and last night, 11/11/11, around 7:45 CST, I was sitting on my balcony which faces directly to the east. At an angle somewhere between 30 and 45 degrees up, a bright star quickly appeared and moved down and to the left, disappearing before reaching the horizon. It was the brightest one I had ever seen, and
